Me

I am the BIGGEST LES MIS FAN IN THE WORLD!! Not just the musical, the musical isn't the half of it. The best part of Les Mis is definitely the book. Unabridged, whole, and complete.
I just finished it for the second time, and am definitely going to continue reading it for the rest of my life.
This book changes you. It makes you think. Sure, Hugo was the master of tangents, but when he gets to the point, he hits it solidly on the mark.
Les Mis can teach you soooooo many different things, but the biggest message for me, is love, the power of change, and how the Love of Christ can change a person's life.
Here, I want people to get to know Les Mis. I want them to know  my favorite quotes, my connections; I want to outline the story, the battles that it goes into, names that he mentions, the whole shabang (except for French slang :))
If you are thinking of going to grab an abridged version, go ahead. But know this-- you are still missing a big part of the story. I had an abridged version that was 900 pages long, and it totally cut out one of the characters. So forget the abridged version, I'll tell you the story. But if you don't like the ending, you haven't read it. I always cry through it, for at least 2 pages.
So dig in. 'Cause this is the Best of Les Mis from MY point of view.
